PDA Device Troubleshooting
CHECK PDA IS CONNECTED TO POSWORKS
1 .Press Start.
2. Select PWSuitePDA Settings.
3. Tap Check.
4. Wait, a Prompt message to appear, this should say, 'Server Communication OK!'
If an error message appears, check IP address, and if not correct, retype the address into the PDA and tap 'Check"
CLOSING POSWORKS APP ON PDA
1. Open POSWorks App on PDA
2. Select the square on the PDA (where is states RECENT)
3. Select the X and it will close the POSWorks App on PDA
SOFT RESTART ON PDA
1. Once you have closed the POSWorks app on your PDA
2. On the PDA Device, on right side, you will find the POWER BUTTON
3. HOLD the Power Button
4. Select POWER OFF option.
5. This will turn the PDA off as soft restart.
