Retail Maintenance: Description of Columns The following columns are available within the main grid of Retail Maintenance; see Smart Grid Functionality for instructions on how to Customise Columns to show/ hide those required: Column Name Description Comments A field for the user to add their own comments for an item. Curr GP $ The current GP $ based on the current sell price and the current cost. Curr GP % The current GP % based on the current sell price and the current cost. Curr Sell Ex The current sell price excluding GST. Curr Sell Inc The current or sell price Including GST. Curr Unit Cost Ex This will be either your store's average cost or the cost visible on the Cost/Sell tab in Item Maintenance depending on your system's configuration. Date Modified The date that the line was last modified. Description The item's description. Error If there is an error on the line details will be displayed in this column. Expire Local Sell The Expire Local Sell column allows the expiration of local normal sells for the items tagged (by setting the finish date from today) so that from tomorrow the store will be using the head office sell price. Tag item(s) required in the Expire Local Sell checkbox column. GP $ The new GP $ based on the new Sell price. Over-type this value to calculate a new Sell price. Click the curved arrow() within this cell to copy the same value to the remaining items in the batch. GP % The new GP % based on the new Sell price. Over-type this value to calculate a new Sell price. Click the curved arrow() button within this cell to copy the same value to the remaining items in the batch. Item ID The POS Works Item ID of the item. Item Range If the item has been allocated a Range it will be displayed here. For more information regarding Item Range refer to Item Maintenance. Item Sub Range If the item has been allocated a Sub Range it will be displayed here. For more information regarding Item Range refer to Item Maintenance. Line An auto-number indicating which line this item is in the current batch. Main Barcode The Main Barcode of the item. Modified By The name of the user who last modified the line within the batch. Normal Sell Head Office The current HO sell price excluding any active promotions. Order Code The Main Supplier Order Code of the item. Retail Value The Retail Value (RRP) of the item. At store level this will be read only and serve solely as a reference field. At head office this will allow the user to additionally update the retail value at the same time as apply a new normal sell price. (Please note if the user is solely interested in updating retail value, this can already be accomplished in Bulk Item Update). Sell Ex The new Sell price excluding GST. When this value is updated and the new GP $ and % will be recalculated and displayed. Select the curved arrow() button within this cell to copy the same value to the remaining items in the batch. Sell Family If the item is in a Sell Family it will be displayed in this column. There is a button at the bottom of the Retail Maintenance screen to add all related family items into the batch. Sell Inc The new Sell price including GST. Over-type this value and the [new] GP $ and % will be recalculated and displayed. Click the curved arrow() button within this cell to copy the same value to the remaining items in the batch. Sell Inc Variance Shows the difference between the new sell and the current sell price. Sell Inc Variance Head Office Shows the difference between the new sell and the head office sell price. Service Sell Inc Only available where configured to use Service Sell in your system. Supplier Min Qty The Min Qty for the main supplier of the item. Supplier Status The status of the main supplier of the item. Unit Cost Ex This will be either your store's Average Cost or the cost visible on the Cost/Sell tab in Item Maintenance depending on your system's configuration. User Flag A user field for tagging/untagging items which is visible if the batch is exported or printed and helps assist in filtering and sorting. Right-click the column heading for options to Check All, Uncheck All, and Invert.
