Linking a Patient to an Account in Dispense Works
For any additional Patient Account information, please see article: (insert other article after you have sent for approval)
Customer Account
- Select a patient and press [F8] to open Patient Maintenance
- Select the Patient Accounts tile
- A patient can be linked to an existing customer account or a user can create a new account from this window
- To link an existing account, search for existing customer accounts in the search bar and [Enter] to select once the required account is highlighted
- To link a new account, click on the New Account button, enter in any additional details, and then click on Save and Link to Customer Account button
4. Adjust credit limit if needed
5. Enable auto charge for scripts if needed
Work Cover Account
- Select a patient and press [F8] to open Patient Maintenance
- Select the Patient Accounts tile
- A patient can be linked to an existing account or have a new account created in the same way as a Customer Account
- Ensure the Work Cover Patient box has been ticked
- Add the Client ID if required
- Save patient details [Ctrl+S]
